Christmas box

Take a good look at all the colours (in the little Christmas scene and on the card).

Décodez les éléments colorés de la petite scène de Noël (trois objets ont plusieurs couleurs) grâce à la carte qui vous donne une correspondance entre les couleurs et les lettres dans « élucidant » avec le O de « boîte ».

La guirlande colorée, si on regarde ses couleurs de gauche à droite donne :

Rouge = C

Bleu = A

Jaune = D, etc.

Faites de même pour l’écharpe et le sapin.

En utilisant les couleurs du mot « élucidant » et le O de « boîte » sur la carte de vœux, on peut décoder les objets de la petite scène illuminée. La carte donne l’ordre du décodage : guirlande, puis sapin et enfin bonhomme de neige.

Les ampoules colorées de la guirlande donnent CADEAU en déchiffrant de gauche à droite (rouge = C, bleu = A, jaune = D, vert = E, bleu = A, violet = U).

Les boules du sapin, de haut en bas, donnent LUTIN (orange, violet, marron, rose, gris).

L’écharpe du bonhomme de neige, de haut en bas, donne ÉTOILE (vert, marron, blanc, rose, orange, vert).

Vous avez désormais 3 paires de mots. Grâce à la languette à trois trous coincée derrière le cadenas, vous allez pouvoir trouver les chiffres nécessaires à l’ouverture du cadenas. Posez le trou le plus à gauche de la languette sur le symbole de la guirlande gravé sur le devant de la boîte, et le trou le plus à droite sur le cadeau. Le chiffre 3 apparaît dans le trou du milieu. En procédant de même pour sapin et lutin, vous trouvez le 9, et bonhomme de neige et étoile donne 3.

Le code du cadenas est  : 393.

The Montcuq Box

The bottom of the tower (the part with a magnet) can be taken off.

The short metal pin at the bottom of the tower can be inserted into the slot on the right-hand side of the box. This allows you to remove a small wooden tab with holes in it.

The symbol of the tower is engraved on the wooden tab. Place it on the piece of paper found in the tower so that letters (and a red dot) appear.

On the engraved map of the village, follow the path marked on both sides of the box. The route forms a number.

You will find the order of the numbers you need for the padlock in the top left-hand corner of the lid.

The symbol of the tower refers to the perforated tab, which, when placed on the piece of paper found inside the tower, spells out the number THREE.

The outline of the window refers to the number inside the tower which you can see through the little window or the bottom of the tower (in sufficient light): 4.

The footstep refers to the path described on the sides of the box. If you follow the path carefully on the engraved map with your finger, you’ll draw a number 8.

The padlock's code is 348.

Book of spells

If you press one of the circles you can see on the edges of the box, you’ll be able to pull out the magic wand!

Push the cauldron and the owl aside to take out a little wooden plate. The other side of the plate will show you the path you need to follow with your wand.

Place the wand's magnet flat on the star at the back of the box. Slowly follow the inverted ‘S’ shape, as shown on the back of the small wooden plate. You’ll hear the key hidden at the bottom of the box as it sticks to the magnet. Gently continue along the path until you reach the small slot on the side. You may need to try several times if the key gets stuck in the maze. Eventually, you’ll see it come out through the small slot.

The 3 little pigs

Push the little books aside to take out the square with the wolf's head.

The back of the wolf’s head represents the three houses of the little pigs. Each little pig must find its own house.

Turn the square until the little pig holding the straw can make its way to its straw house. The number revealed on its door is 3. Turn again so that the little pig with the logs can reach the wooden house. Its door then shows the number 8. Finally, it’s the last pig’s turn to reach the brick house, revealing the number 2. The combination for the padlock, from top to bottom, is 382. If the padlock is stuck, press down gently on the dials to align them properly.
